In a brilliantly executed shot, Kangana casually looks for some pills in her cloak, while her image in the mirror is standing still.

Raaz-The Mystery Continues is filled with several such spooky moments – some work, some don't. Bhatt camps' sequel to the surprise 2001 hit Raaz has no relation whatsoever to the Bipasha Basu-Dino Morea flick. Except that both films are essentially murder mysteries with some edge-of-the-seat moments.

Random suicides in an obscure North Indian village go unreported till a model in Mumbai develops similar tendencies. Kangana Ranaut plays the troubled supermodel (oh no, not again!) Nandita who is dating news anchor Yash (played by a confident Adhyayan Suman) who happens to be a atheist, a non-believer. RTMC takes time to find its bearings. After a shocking opening sequence, the plot shifts to the customary Bollywood love angle, with couple of melodious numbers thrown in. Any follower of Bollywood, especially when it comes to good music, would certainly know by heart the entire catalogue that Vishesh Films has created in last two decades. And now when Bhatt brothers are ready to strike again with Raaz - The Mystery Continues (which is not a sequel to Raaz and mainly extends the horror-n-mystery genre forward), their music is in news once again.

Would it impress yet again, just like majority of films coming from the house of Bhatts do? Would it have soulful tunes which would make Raaz - TMC yet another addition to the enviable music catalogue of the Bhatts? Would Emraan Hashmi's lucky charm rub over Raaz - TMC too when it comes to popularity of music? Would Raaz - TMC match up to Raaz that had some haunting melodies by Nadeem-Shravan and still registers sales at the music stands? more.....

If you don’t end up chuckling at some of the so-called spooky sequences, there is a chance that you might find Raaz - The Mystery Continues scary.

Now, what do you say of a horror film that besides sending a chill down your firm spine at few moments also ends up tickling it without intending to. This mohit suri-directed film is both scary and funny. Scary because it is, at its base, a collage of corroded clichés from popular horror movies that have been watched to their death. Clichés like a pair of hands emerging from the bottom of a bathtub to spook its sexy bather. Or lamps and lanterns going off before the ghost makes its presence. Or the grotesque faces in the mirror. Clichéd they may be, they are still potent in pumping your adrenaline and giving you some goose flesh. more....
